The Xbox One X, the higher-end version of the Xbox One is all set to be rolled out in November 2017. In our quest to find out about the upcoming Xbox 2 as much as we can, we have come to a conclusion regarding the Xbox 2 price. Drawn on a number of factors and tons of speculations we will tell you that to get your hands on the console you will need to have deep pockets.
The console will, of course, be an upgrade version of the previous consoles which is why Xbox fans are looking forward to it. Microsoft is yet to make any announcement regarding the console, and they haven’t even told us that the console exists. But there are several speculations regarding the features, and by the looks of it, the console will be a premium piece of equipment; so it’s obvious that the cost of Xbox 2 will be a back burner.
To find out how much the console is priced at, we must first take a look at the cost pattern of the previous consoles. The first one in the series – the Xbox console was launched back in 2001 at a price tag of $299, next came Xbox 360 in the year 2005 that was priced at $399 and then Xbox One was launched for $499 in 2013 and One S for $399 and One X for $500. So it’s pretty likely that the cost of Xbox 2 will be $599.
Xbox 2 price is most certainly going to put a hole in your pocket, but given the kind of features that the console is expected bring, the cost is justified. Some of the features that we are looking forward to including the introduction of VR technology which has been making great forwards strides in the last couple of years; back in 2016 Sony entered the VR market with it PSVR, which is one of the best and the most cheap VR headset that is available for you to get your hands on. Other features that we are looking forward to are 4K resolution, backward compatibility, along with possibilities of new voice control settings, custom game specific controllers among other things.
Xbox 2 price is yet to be confirmed which is why the number that we have put forward should be taken with a pinch of salt. But any Xbox fans who can predict the cost for the upcoming console would know that our prediction is worth considering. The price can go up, but it’s definitely not going down.
