Grip is perhaps the most important feature of all and it refers to how you hold the mouse in your hand. There are three main types of grips and they are palm, fingertip and claw.
Jitter is another important feature that refers to the level of imprecision when a mouse tracks the pad. It usually occurs when the mouse movement is much higher with much higher CPIs. The jitter can actually make the cursor move about unpredictably.
CPI or counts per inch is the number of times that a particular mouse sensor will read the tracking surface, which in this case is the mouse pad. CPI is counted for every bit of inch that the mouse moves. It is often also called as, however CPI more precisely defines it. If the count for CPI is low then it means you have to move the mouse further in order to make the cursor move.
Acceleration is one of the most analyzed issues and whenever a mouse sensor shows acceleration, it implies that the cursor will make faster movements than your mouse.
